What exactly is a share table?
Share tables and share carts are a new way to fight food waste, and they're gaining popularity at schools everywhere. They typically come with a poster explaining to kids what foods they have that can be kept, such as whole fruits or packs of crackers, as well as different crates for kids to leave these foods for peers that want them. By doing this, they get food away from trash cans and back into the hands of people who can use it. |
